Prayer for Today's Voting

Dear Father,
I ask that you would continue to pour out Your Presence on Capitol Hill. I ask that Democrats and Republicans alike would see that some issues are beyond partisan, and it's about agreeing in Spirit and Truth. Father, I ask that You bring conviction to every leader that they would tremble in heart before You as they go to make decisions. Father, I ask for an open heaven above Capital Hill today. I ask for Your Presence to manifest in their midst, that the leaders from the top to the bottom would know the fear of the Lord, knowing that the decisions they make are indeed decisions they will be responsible for before You, God.

Father, I ask for wisdom for the leaders. I ask for courage for them to do the right things. I ask that during debate times that Your people who are called by Your name would take a stand and would speak Your Truth with conviction and courage, and that it would pierce the listeners and break their hearts and open their eyes. I am confident that You have those who follow You in the Congress, Lord. I ask that this hour they would raise up and speak Your heart with all conviction and courage that justice in righteousness will reign and protect this land, as we are one nation under You, God.

Father, I ask that You foil and spoil every manipulative plan and seed of darkness in every part of this health bill and to all the amendments. That You cleanse this whole situation, and that you provide wisdom to your leaders to stand in righteousness and truth. Father, I ask that any precedent set here will be a righteous precedent. I ask that all motives be pure, and that Your glory would come forth out of this whole situation and You would reign.

Father, I ask that today you begin breaking down and uprooting every abortion agency in our nation. Father, I ask that You make Yourself known to the leaders of these agencies, and that they would know the fear of the Lord, and that they would resign and turn to You. Father, they are not in control of parenthood. It's not up to man to determine how to control parenthood, for people are never in control; that idea is only a delusion.

Father, You alone are sovereign and in control, and You are justice, mercy, love, all knowledge, and all wisdom and truth. So, Lord, please have Your way today, and please bring a holy fear to our nation of Your vision of marriage, parenthood, and life in You, Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord!

Marriage Preparation

My brother gave me a set of books written by Eric and Leslie Ludy back in 2005 or so. Since then, God has given me the amazing opportunity to meet this couple and witness first hand how God's anointing pours lavishly through a couple who has put Jesus Christ as center. I highly respect the message Eric and Leslie has written and spoken to set apart men and women because it's focus is always Jesus Christ and our surrender to Him completely. I pray that if you are preparing for marriage you will take some time to watch this set of videos. It's geared towards a younger crowd, but God's truths are timeless, and we can all learn. My prayer is that we all each surrender everything to our King and wait on Him to write the love story on His heart for each of our lives. God bless you!

Interceding For Our Nation

Father, I ask that you be with the Democratic and Republican representatives on Capitol Hill this coming weekend. Lord, I ask that they would realize that this health bill isn't about parties, but about truth vs. deception, about life vs. death. Father, I ask that you put a Holy fear in the lives of every democratic and republican representative and that they would feel conviction when they go to vote. Lord, I ask that you stay their hand. I ask that you would NOT let them vote for unrighteousness, but that in their hearts, you would convict them even tonight and tomorrow, that when they go to even consider accepting the bill that their heart would be pounding, and they would know that they have been put in leadership for such a time as this to do the RIGHT THING. Lord, it's no longer a political party thing, and may they realize that. Father, I ask that you would bring each democratic and republican representative to their knees, and that in prayer you would strengthen them to do the RIGH THING, even if it means that it will cost them their votes. Father, I ask that YOU would make yourself visible, real, and strong as TRUTH, LIFE, and PURE JUSTICE before each of the representatives. Father, I thank you for each one of the representatives in office at such this time, and I ask that you would SHAKE THEM!!!!!!! I ask that each of their hearts would tremble, knowing that the decisions they make this weekend WILL affect many, many, many lives. Father, please turn their hearts toward YOUR STATUTES!!! Father, I ask that in Jesus' Name, that every representative would vote from his heart, and that his heart would be one trembling with fear of You. Father, Go before them all tomorrow. YOU ARE GOD!!! Go, Holy Spirit and hover over Capitol Hill. In Jesus' Name, I break down the principalities of darkness, and I speak LIGHT, I speak Jesus Christ over Capitol HIll. In Jesus' Name, I bind every force of darkness, and in the authority Christ gave me, I loose the Spirit of Jesus Christ on Captiol Hill and over every representative's home.

I also pray for President Obama tonight. I pray that he cannot sleep, but that he searches his heart this evening. Father, I ask that you break through every spirit of darkness surrounding my President's life, and that you break through all that darkness and surround his mind, heart, life, and whole habitation with YOUR LIGHT. Father, I speak TRUTH and LIFE over all leadership that governs our country!!! Thank you for being GOD, and for being in charge of turning the hearts of our leaders. Father, I know that according to your will, you can change our leaderships' hearts, so I ask that you would LET YOUR KINGDOM COME, JESUS, AND YOUR WILL BE DONE, ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. Please be glorified, Lord.

Father, may we as a nation respect our leaders and pray for them. Father, may we put you and your righteousness first in our hearts and lives. May we all search our hearts and lives and come to You trembling in our own hearts over the things You are doing in our own lives and in our nation. Father, please forgive us for not paying attention, for not praying for our nation. Lord, I ask that you now raise up a generation of prayer warriors who will stand in the gap and pray for our country! Lord, for those whom you are expanding into ministry and missions, Father, may we be interceding for our nation from our heart. Father, you are raising up a "justice generation" as Dutch Sheets called us, and I agree. Father, Your arm is MIGHTY TO SAVE!!!!!!!

Thank you, Lord, for finishing every darkness on the cross through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who through death and resurrection finished and took the cost for EVERY form of darkness that our nation could go through and face. Father, it's FINISHED! You made the way, you gave us THE ANSWER in Jesus Christ!!!!!!! So, Father, open our blind eyes, open our deaf ears, open our hearts to the Truth of Your Holy Word, and please come, Lord, and let YOUR righteousness break through this darkness. LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE, JESUS!!!!!!! And, may every follower of Christ SHINE YOUR LIGHT, as well. Have YOUR WAY, LORD!!!!!!! All for Your glory, and Yours alone!!!!!!!

Dear Father,
I cry out to You tonight on behalf of our country regarding this health care bill. Father, I thank you for LIFE, and I am so sorry, Father, that we have lost our way in this nation, calling good, evil, and evil, good. Father, it's sin. It's wrong. And, Father, now is the time that we are being shaken and awakened to the atrocities of what is going on in this country. Lord, I am so sorry. Father, so many babies have died, and it's wrong. Father, it's sin. It's wicked sin, and it's time that our country STOPS moving in the wrong direction. Father, I choose tonight to stand in the gap and to pray Your prayers on behalf of our country. Please hear us from heaven.

Father, I ask that you open every eye and heart of every person who has ever had an abortion. Father, I ask that the blinders would come off, and that grieving would take place over this sin. I ask for mercy, Lord, and your saving grace, but I ask that, Jesus, you help every person who has had abortion and who is even considering abortion to know what it is. Lord, there is a wicked spirit of murder and entrapment behind abortion. Father, so many women who think they are moving toward pro-choice is actually moving towards aborting their babies because in reality they feel TRAPPED. So, Father, I speak FREEDOM to the women, and I speak GRACE AND LIFE to these women. Father, You are able to heal, fill, and restore, and I ask right now that you heal their hearts and give every woman SOUND decision making abilities regarding the child in their womb. Father, please protect, both the mother and the child. Father, please surround every woman under these conditions with LOVE, FREEDOM, WISDOM, TRUTH, and LIFE. God, I ask that You move on every woman's heart in our country to value LIFE. I ask that the enemy's assignment to kill, steal, and destroy would be rebuked and refuted in Jesus' Name, and that You would bring forth LIFE and LIFE abundantly in Jesus' Name, amen!

Father, I ask that you be with those who will go to vote regarding this bill. Father, bring CONVICTION so strong that they would know they are being held responsible for their choice. Father, open the blind eyes, that they might see the TRUTH and vote with TRUTH.

Father, in the power of your name Jesus, I bind every demonic force behind this bill, and I loose TRUTH. I bind the spirits of manipulation, deception, and death in Jesus' Name, Amen. Father, I loose FREEDOM, TRUTH, and LIFE, in Jesus' Name, amen.

Father, put a cry in every righteous heart to see Your justice come to our land. Lord, we have been apathetic, and we have been silent. Father, I ask you to forgive us, and that you lead us in wisdom, truth, and love. Reveal to us Your desire for our actions and our prayers. Lead us in these crucial times, Lord, I pray.

Jesus, I thank you for Life.
May every person who is reading this be thankful for LIFE.
Jesus, I ask that every person who is reading this also knows what it is to have your salvation.
Please move in every heart. Please move in all our lives. Please move in our nation, I pray, in Jesus' Name, amen!
